Agnieszka Polska

born 1985 in Lublin, Polska,
lives and works in Warsaw, Poland.

Agnieszka Polska produces films and animations, she also photographs. In her works the artist raises the issue of institutional amnesia and the role of fiction and confabulation in regaining memory. Artist's works in the collection

Collages dedicated to marginal events of 20th-century art history – projects that never saw the light of day or else are only a matter of urban myth. Amongst the artists that interest Polska are Jerzy Bereś, Edward Kienholz, Paweł Freisler and art theoretician Jerzy Ludwiński.
